Federal Assistance to

Student Car Buyers

Next Generation Cars for the Next Generation

FASCB's mission is to deliver long-term, result-oriented solutions that protect our environment, lessens our dependency on foreign oil, encourage a robust economy, and promote higher education.

Federal Assistance to Student Car Buyers® (FASCB) is dedicated to helping college/vocational school students and the newly graduated from these institutions purchase fuel-efficient cars.  Specifically, FASCB has prevailed upon the Federal government to grant a one-time, 20% subsidy to these buyers. Primarily focused on supporting students and graduates of higher education, FASCB, through legislation drafting*, public education, research, volunteerism and lobbying seeks to offer alternative approaches to lowering our nation's dependency on oil. Explicitly, FASCB will:

Reduce petroleum usage

Reduce air pollution

Provide financial assistance to college/vocational school commuters

Financially help new graduates purchase a car

Put more young adults in safe and environmentally-friendly cars

Quickly increase the number of hybrid cars on the road

Provide an incentive for attending higher education

FASCB, while advocating for fuel-efficient car usage, believes:

Excessive dependence on foreign oil is a clear and
present danger to our nation's security

A clean environment is a necessity, not a luxury

The right to affordable higher education

* The Student Fuel Reduction Act of 2007 would grant a one-time, 20% subsidy by the Federal government to college/vocational students and the newly graduated from these institution.  This will be accomplished through direct payment or by way of one year payment-free on a five-year auto loan.
